Before submitting an offer for your dream home, there are many checklists to consider before you buy – that’s why it’s important to do a self-inspection.
General Items to Check At Home
Door: open and close each one and check all the keys. Make sure they are not trapped and stay closed. Did they mark the ground so as not to open unevenly?
Flooring: Check each piece for squeaky, loose, or rocking boards. Make sure the ground is not level.
Ceiling and walls: Check for mold or water damage. Check the hole. If you see stains on the ceiling, it could mean that there are active leaks which can get expensive in the future if not fixed immediately.
Windows: open and close each window to see if they remain. Check the key and look for the discolored or damaged panel. Find water spots under the window that could indicate a loose frame.
Cut: Find a broken, damaged, or missing trim. These include finishing windows and doors and whiteboards.
Stairs: Check every staircase in the house to see if they are safe and don’t matter when they are walking. Check the safety of the guide and the spindle.
Lights: test every switch at home. If someone doesn’t seem to be working, make sure it’s not just a burning bullet.
Socket: test each with a voltage tester. Especially in older homes, it’s important to make sure all outlets are code and grounded to protect your equipment, family, and home from electric shock. You can also visit our best project and opt for 2 and 3 BHK flats in Jagatpura Jaipur.
